Blackstone's Human Rights Digest

With the Human Rights Act 1998 now in force, speedy access to human rights cases and expert guidance through those cases will be essential for all those whose work will be affected by the European Convention on Human Rights.

Brought together by experts in human rights law, this Digest analyzes and provides extracts from: the key judgments of the European Court of Human Rights; the key decisions of the European Commission of Human Rights; and the essential cases from Scotland, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and the Commonwealth.

The Digest is divided into user-friendly sections organized on an issue-by-issue basis.

Each section sets out the key cases on any given topic, summarizes the principles applied in them and quotes relevant extracts from the judgments.

It is accompanied by a CD-ROM which contains the full text of all the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights together, with key decisions of the European Commission up to and including September 2000.
