See all formats and editions

When Giant Jim comes to town, the townspeople are terrified they'll be eaten or squashed.

But Jim is a good giant - he only eats omelettes, likes music and just wants somewhere to live. But he can't seem to do things right - he makes a racket with his saxophone, squashes the Town Hall and his hen, Florrie, even lays a giant egg on the library - and so Giant Jim is banished.

Then a hurricane hits the town and Florrie looks after the people while Giant Jim puts the town back together again.

Everyone is delighted and Giant Jim is allowed to live in a big barn in the town.
