The Bravest Heart on the Team

"In 2015, our team - the Worcester Bravehearts - was going nowhere. We were in last place, having endured a 10-game losing streak at the beginning of the season.

While we struggled to come together as a team, something incredible happened in mid-July. Krish Vyas gave a pep talk to the team and high-fives to everyone in the clubhouse. The team went on to win 11 of their last 16 games that season and snuck into the playoffs, catching fire in that second week of August.

After playoff victories against the Brockton Rox and Martha's Vineyard Sharks, the Bravehearts found themselves in the deciding game of the championship series against the Bristol Blues. Before the team left for Bristol, Krish jumped on the team bus, grabbed the microphone, and pumped up the team with an inspirational speech. The Bravehearts won the FCBL Championship later that day in extra innings, and the rest is history.

Krish continues to be a solid presence around the Bravehearts and now serves as our Honorary Captain. He's a true Braveheart."
