ABOUT THE BOOK
Alex Jaeger is an Australian ex-special forces soldier, turned mercenary, turned chancer, doing whatever he pleases to make a living, though enjoying it more when it upsets the corrupt status quo. Having been mistaken for an out-of-town hitman by the city's crime boss, Guido Spinoza, he is forced to flee his hotel room, leaving the ill-gotten gains from his last escapade behind, as he leaps from a tenth-story-window and into the harbour. In settling the score he stumbles across a monstrous crime of international proportion involving a new, mass produced drug designed to addict and destroy, which he finds he cannot turn away from.

In working the problem, he is joined by two more of society's misfits, a drug addicted girl and a lone biker. Amid a city in chaos and turmoil the unlikely trio tackle a foe of seemingly vastly superiority, needing to employ stealth and cunning as much as possible to bring down Spinoza and the international arch villain, code name Cassandra.
