A Safety Based Decision Support System for the Design of Large Offshore Engineering Products

The main aims of this project are to develop novel safety assessment and decision making techniques to facilitate offshore safety analysis.

The project concentrates on the development of safety-based design-decision support frameworks.

It also demonstrates how safety assessment can be used to assist decision making when designing large offshore engineering products, in order to make the development process more controllable thereby allowing decisions regarding design and operations to be made based on safety assessment.
