This project examined the demands and expectations placed on the crew of daughter craft (DC) involved in off-shore operations.

The nature of the demands, the tasks undertaken by DC crew and the potential influences on crew performance were reviewed using a variety of methods, including questionnaire, structured individual and group interviews, and direct observation and measurement.

The performance of DC crew was monitored in a range of conditions and in a variety of DC in the Southern North Sea.
