First published in 1956, "Underhill's" has become one of the main guides to the law and procedure relating to liquor, gaming, betting and lottery licensing.

Practical in approach, the book gives advice on tactics and sets out each step involved in the successful making or opposing of a licensing application.

Now in its eleventh edition, it has been completely updated, and features a new chapter on Appeals detailing the grounds on which an appeal is possible.
