The SQA National 4 Physics course consists of three units of suggested content.

The key areas of each unit are discussed in detail in this BrightRED Study Guide using explanations, pictures, diagrams, drawings and examples.

Some of the skills you will be expected to demonstrate are also covered in the book.

Quick questions follow each key area to test your understanding and to let you practice some of the ideas and techniques.

Extended questions feature at the end of each unit. These questions are designed to help you master the problem-solving techniques and skills.
