Dr. Ayiti Jean-Pierre is determined to travel back to the homeland that is her namesake, Ayiti- or "Haiti"-as it is known in English. At aged 7, Ayiti, along with her family, were forced to flee Haiti to escape the political turmoil and poverty that was destroying her nation. Since then, Ayiti has known she has a God-given mission to return and help. When Ayiti moves back to Haiti, to provide volunteer medical services, she rests with a knowing that she is finally obeying the call God placed on her life.

What she doesn't know is what God has in store for her!After arriving in Haiti, Ayiti meets an English missionary, Pastor Jude Patterson, whose family has given their lives to minister to, and assist in the deliverance of, the Haitian people. Their mission is to set the Haitian people free from the practices of Voodoo and witchcraft, and to help them repent and accept the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jude meets Ayiti and pursues her, but Ayiti cannot get over the fact the he is white, seven years younger, and from a completely different cultural background. She also despises the fact that Pastor Jude seems to be attacking the very cultural and religious beliefs that she adores.Ayiti is determined to help her people. Pastor Jude will stop at nothing to capture her heart. Battling issues regarding race, spiritual beliefs, and age differences, the relationship between Ayiti and Jude is tested to the limits! Will Ayiti put aside her preconceptions about Pastor Jude?

Will she come to accept Jesus Christ as Savior? Will Jude win Ayiti's heart?This is a serial novel published in two parts. This first part includes Chapters 1-28. The second part is entitled Ayiti: Continued and picks up at Chapter 29 until the end. Ayiti is the first novel of the Ayiti Series.
