Wizard : The Novice's Quest

Robert lives in Ross-Shire Scotland, and attends Tain Royal Academy.

He wrote "The Apple of Doom", which is the first of a trilogy, when he was fourteen.

It is about a young group of adventurers on a rainforest island called Greenworld, and deals with magic, murder and the sinister Tombhadi, who is the central villain.

The hero of the book is Gybes, and he and his friends outwit and out-manoeuvre Tombhadi and his henchmen.

The book is fast moving, with moral tales and lessons to be learned throughout the storyline.

Robert's book was launched in June 2004, and sold fast.

There are enquiries coming in from abroad, and he is already set for a career as an author, which is his ambition.
