100 Literacy Hours - Year 6

An English programmme designed to provide a flexible structure for delivering the core English Curriculum consisting of teaching resources (lesson plans and photocopiable activity sheets) medium short-term plans and assessment.

Each book is hole-punched with perforated pages to allow storage in a ring binder with teacher's own material.

This book provides resource material for Year 6, the material is organized into teaching units that resource between 1 to 5 literacy hours.

Each teaching unit has either a reading or a writing focus.

However the link between reading and writing is explicit.

Each unit is based on quality fiction, non-fiction or poetry, thus putting all work into context.

Speaking and listening is integrated throughout, as is grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary.
