Shorty and Alberto are best friends. They live in the poor district of Medellin, where music, money and soccer are the three things they worship.

It's also an area where guns speak louder than words.

Slowly the boys are drawn into a dark world of threats, kidnaps and hits - both of drugs and guns.

Shorty stays on the sidelines, scared, but Alberto strides right in, confident he can stay in control.

But he can't and he doesn't, and soon Shorty is searching for his missing friend - and if that means picking up a gun, he'll do it...
