Writing a Winning Personal Statement

This brand new suite of teaching resources has been specially researched and produced to provide busy Careers Teachers, Year Heads, School Heads and others with all the information they need to deliver up-to-date, engaging and effective advice.

Each of three "Critical Choices" modules has been designed to be flexible, providing material suitable for anything from one-off teaching sessions right through to a full teaching programme.

All of the module contents are tried and tested with small, medium-sized and large groups, and are made fully interactive by the inclusion of worksheets containing role-play exercises, quizzes, games and other tasks to be completed by the students themselves.

The "Critical Choices" materials can be used in support of a wide range of learning scenarios including: Tutor groups; Classroom teaching; Year group sessions; Careers and HE fairs/events; and Year 11, 12 and 13 HE application tutoring/mentoring.

All modules will include: Teacher's Notes; Lesson plans; Presentation materials.
