Death notice

On an online forum, a vigilante calling themselves 'Eumenides' - after the Greek goddesses of retribution - announces their intention of meting out justice for unpunished crimes.

Despite publishing the name of each victim and the date of execution - their death notices - the police are simply unable to stop the killer. A special investigation team is assembled, what connection does this have to an eighteen-year-old case that saw two similar 'death notice' killings and a bomb blast that killed two top students from the provincial police academy?

For Detective Luo Fei, the investigation is personal and, with lives in the balance, the darker side of human nature comes to light.
