W. Hall's 1915 edition which was published in Hazard, Kentucky.

Hall called it "e;The Most Remarkable Story of the Mountains Ever Written."e; Footnotes were added in order to provide context and depth.

Also included are contemporary newspaper articles that provide the reader with a more complete account of the Civil War veteran and famous feudist.

A family tree rounds out the picture.
