The climate science is clear. Global warming is an urgent and largely man-made problem. The same science shows that, without a comprehensive global response, within a few short decades, death-dealing runaway global heating is absolutely assured. This future is not science fiction. The unforgiving thesis of this book is that the climate science and today's facts on the ground, lead inextricably to such a nightmarish tomorrow for our grandchildren - and it is my generation above all others, that will have done it to them.
