Introduction: Life is so peculiar. People come into your life and trample all over your heart, then leave. But some people come at the most unexpected times and they get to stay forever. Life is exciting and devastating and unpredictable. You'll make plans and have dreams that never come to fruition. Sometimes what will come in their place is heartache and ruin. But sometimes, miraculous things happen. Things that were so far out of reach, you couldn't even begin to dream of them.

Here you'll find nostalgia and darkness; A scared inner child and the assertive woman she grew into. You'll find love, sex, death and despair; Hopes and dreams and fairytales. My wish is that something here - a word, a phrase, an entire poem - will resonate with you. That you'll feel seen, heard, and understood. As life is a collective experience, I hope these stories can be too. So whether we all used to make potions out of rocks and leaves, or dreamt of having a baby, or were dramatic pre-teens; My hope is that something draws you to it, and keep it with you.
