Cambridge Illustrated Thesaurus of Chemistry

These are the latest publications in this series of small format handbooks which offer something completely new in works of reference.

They combine the usefulness of a dictionary (straightforward succinct definitions) with the flexibility of a thesaurus (entries grouped by topic and cross-referenced).

They will be useful in finding the meaning of a word, finding related words, revising a particular subject area, finding out more about a word whose meaning is unknown and finding a word to fit a meaning.

There are detailed annotations, useful reference tables, a glossary, a systematic scheme of cross-referencing and a comprehensive index.
