New Generation of Arabic Parnassus: "Marginal People" in Pursuit of Self-fulfillment

In this book, the author tries to explain why marginalized generation can be formed, what their features are and how they achieve self-fulfillment with their works being interpreted. And then further gives analysis on the development and the impacts faced by the traditional value conception of Arabic society.

The author attributes the marginalization to the modernization process both in Arabic society and in its culture because they are caught into the cultural tradition, nationality and modernity entanglement when accepting and digesting modernity.

With their keen intuition and active thinking, the poets always stand in front of both core values of social philosophy and reflection and reconstruction of literature creation concept.

Through the interdisciplinary and multi-angle study of the new-generation Arabic poets, we are able to achieve a good understanding of the current Arabic society.
