Sustaining Partnerships

Partnerships between adult learning organisations have thrived in recent years but there are concerns that when funding is cut partnerships will become fragile as organisations increasingly focus on their own survival.

This policy discussion paper summarises the current situation, looks at the advantages, incentives and barriers involved in joint working arrangements and, using illustrative examples, explores the factors that contribute to successful partnerships.

It explores current policy and research, and concludes with a number of recommendations.
