Doug the slug's life is turned upside down when best buddy, Stan, puts his house up for sale. However, the big, old mansion by the sea needs a bit of work so good-natured Doug offers to lend a hand. Before long, potential buyers turn up with grand plans of their own but there is a BIG, BIG problem.
