Metals and Technology

Metals and Technology is one of the titles appearing in the Australian Technology Studies series aimed at upper secondary school students.

The first book in this series, Materials, Design and Technology, introduces the student to the design process which has now been incorporated into the national curriculum subject design and technology. This book applies the design process to metals. It covers the problem solving and design processes involved in working with metals and also includes the more traditional areas of metalwork - tools and equipment, structures, manufacturing and construction.

The book is designed to be used in conjunction with Materials, Design and Technology.
