Cognitive Psychology

Aiming to provide students with an accessible introduction to cognitive psychology, this text is in accordance with the cognitive psychology component of the AEB A Level syllabus.

It explores all types of cognitive psychology: perception, attention, memory, language and thought.

Topics include theories of perception, perceptual development and organization (with an emphasis on visual perception), focused and divided attention, performance deficits, major models of memory and theories of forgetting (including practical applications), language acquisition, production and comprehension and the language-thought relationship. There is an introduction, conclusion and detailed summary for each chapter, for content review and revision purposes.

This text should be useful to undergraduate students as well as A and A/S Level students.
