Promoting Breast-feeding in Health Facilities : A Short Course for Administrators and Policy-makers

This course is designed for health facility administrators and policy-makers in countries where there is a committment to breast-feeding but where progress is slow.

Practical in nature, it addresses specific topics such as policies and proceedings, costs and savings, and how to address common barriers to change.

The course compromises eight modules which can be presented over a period of one and a half to two days.

Each session contributes to the final outcome: developing an action plan to implement the "ten steps to successful breast-feeding."
