This bilingual publication provides information on policy formulation and implementation in selected countries in Africa.

It aims to analyze policy issues confronting forestry in these countries, to discuss the ways individual countries respond to these issues and adapt their forestry policies and to suggest directions for national and international actions in support of appropriate policies for sustainable development.
