The Isle of Man : Celebrating a Sense of Place

This book grew out of a series of field trips organized by the Department of Geography at the University College of Swansea.

The book has three aims - to provide a framework for the teaching of geography in this field, to provide an up-to-date account of geographical knowledge about the island, and to present the information in such a way that it would have some appeal for interested members of the general public.
