Intentionality

Lily and Mae are the first twins to be schooled in 'The Nest', under the polar ocean.

Their fate is set; their life paths have been laid out by The Acer Elders.

They are Seeders, destined for The Golden City of Intentionality.

There they will work as academics to enhance the community - those who survived the Evo-shift that destroyed the world decades ago.

But Mae has always been troubled, unusual, and unable to cope.

Will she make it through the Ascension test? As Mae struggles with her skills, she becomes aware of another world, hidden by the luxury; a world of servitude.

At the same time, she begins to realise that the promises from Intentionality are not quite as straightforward as they have been led to believe.

Worst of all, her sister Lily appears to be in grave danger.

Can Mae take control of her skills with the help of her new friends in time to save her twin?

Set in the future, after a huge ecological disaster, Intentionality is a gripping speculative novel for children aged 11-14 years old.

Author Rebekah has been inspired by a number of young adult authors, including Lauren Oliver and Suzanne Collins.

Her novel is reminiscent of Julie Bertagna's Exodus.
