Cambridge Express German is for students studying German as a second foreign language in a two or three year course to GCSE/Standard Grade. Klassentreffen covers the topics specified under the national curriculum in a fresh and engaging way, by 'getting under the skin' of a class at the Luisenschule in Essen, and discovering what they think and feel about themselves and their environment.

The set of four Kassetten comprises three C60 cassettes of recorded material to accompany the Schulerbuch, and one C60 Schularbeitskassette, which is copiable for pupils to use for intensive listening practice at home.
