Visions of Earth

Delmar, a part of Cengage Learning, is pleased to announce an amazing new visual resource for use in Earth science education, bringing planet Earth and its systems into the classroom.

Developed by The American Geological Institute, the voice of professional geoscientists, "Visions of Earth" is a DVD-based series derived from National Science Education Standards.

It was designed to fit with current and future Earth science curricula in schools across the country.

Drawing upon the American Geological Institute's huge geoscientific archive of HD television footage, this series provides almost two hours of Hollywood style animations, and stunning computer generated images.

It will transport students to places within the Earth system that are impossible to visit in any other way, going back in time, plunging into the deep ocean and inside Earth's crust, traveling down through volcanoes, and much, much, more.
