What is Reach? Reach: Support for living an ordinary life is a resource and set of 11 standards to help ensure people receive, or are moving towards, support for living their ordinary life. It's NOT an assessment tool. It's NOT a model. No two lives should be the same. These resources will assist support providers and commissioners to meet their responsibilities to the people they support and the relevant regulatory bodies.

It helps organisations to understand what really good quality 'support for living an ordinary life' is, and will ensure that they are always working to make sure this is offered to the people they support. Vital for: Anyone who receives support in order to live an ordinary life, families and friends, supporters and their team, people in residential care, organisations that support individuals, the people who fund support and the organisations that are responsible for monitoring support.
