Danny, The Donkey and the Coconut Man is set in Jamaica, an island in the Caribbean. This story is written to aid in language development.
The language used is geared towards children acquiring early phrases and sentences as well as gestalt language learners.
Danny, a four-year-old boy, loves coconut water and his favourite animal is the donkey. He looks forward to Saturday mornings when the Coconut Man passes his house so he can buy his coconut water and interact with his favourite animal- the Donkey.
Danny is in for a big surprise as one Saturday morning, Winston decided that he would do things differently.
