Author L.Q. Murphy (father, son, husband, former United States Army Ranger, proud citizen) is the chief. A self-proclaimed word chef and visionary creator. The raw ingredients of words baked in the depth of his mind, and with the help of loving friends, family, and associates, added the finishing touches.

The work is abstract. The abstract presentation of words is his gift. His poems are obtuse, provoking the mind to think deeply upon the second read. Others are acute, bringing immediate clarity on the first read.

The communities we were raised in sometimes leave us with difficult questions. We, at times, need perspective. We need explanations. Other times we need the answers given to us in a different way.
