Children can highlight any of the 15,000 headwords to hear an entry pronounced correctly.

If any word in a definition is new or difficult, one click will explain the meaning to the user. Every letter of the alphabet has its own special letter world packed with interactive animations that illustrate the meanings of words in the dictionary, with one click on an image. The word machine interface is designed to make words easy to find, even for children who have never used a computer before.
