Children's journey of discovery

Reg Giddings has been inspired by everyday happenings to create this entertaining collection of eight rhyming stories for children - all beautifully illustrated.

Here we meet Ben the Bus and Bob the Boat, both picking up passengers and carrying them safely to where they want to go.

We also meet Sam the Sheepdog, the farmer's best friend who helps with the farm work; and then there's Matt the little Mini car, Bill the Biplane and Ted the Tractor - all trusty and reliable characters too.

We take a peep into the life of Ron the Robin, and we learn what exciting things go on behind the high walls of John Black's scrapyard.
