The mad inventor's guide to weird science

Dr Frank Neinstein lives in a lab in a castle in a forest in a ravine and for some reason hardly ever gets visitors.

Possibly this is because he is MAD and NO ONE CAN STOP HIM from creating works of terror and genius. And also really getting on the nerves of his assistant Igor, particularly when he insists on flushing half-finished experiments down the toilet and, surprise surprise, a couple of days later Igor's fighting off tentacled sewage monsters again. Because of the no visitors thing (he does tend to use them as experiment fodder), Dr N is worried that his brilliance may be lost to the ages, so he has written this comprehensive manual for aspiring geniuses.

Complete with annotations by Igor, who is actually rather a good practical scientist who explains the real underpinnings of Dr N's mad masterworks.
