Adventures of Pinocchio

The protagonist of the story, Pinocchio, is a mischievous puppet.

He is innocent, simple-minded, and curious; but he lacks determination, perseverance, and cannot withstand temptations.

He made up his mind many times but always gave up halfway.

Pinocchio is neither hopelessly bad nor impeccably good, but, like many children in real life, is kind-hearted and intelligent with many shortcomings.

Both adult and children read it with the sense of intimacy, as if Pinocchio is the person around us or is ourselves.

The author penetrates deep into the heart of the child, observes the world with the eyes of the child, and thinks about the problem with the mind of the child.
