The year is1968. The quiet and peaceful life of a small town located in the US state of Florida on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean is turned upside down, when suddenly out of nowhere a hurricane hits the coast, and is gone again just as quickly. The waves from the hurricane uncovered an ancient granite slab that was lying on the beach, and which had been annoying holidaymakers for many years.

This event will be the start of a story that will change the life of a small boy named Danny.

It will also change the lives of many other people, and will lead to the "exposure" of some that until this time had held positions of trust and respect in society. It will show how insignificant the modern military power of the whole country is compared with two representatives of a vanished civilization.

The book teaches kindness, patriotism, love of children for their parents and parents for their children, as well as for adopted children, and total dedication for a friend, in true military fashion.

The book's gripping story is equally interesting to both children and adults, and after it is read it keeps the reader waiting for the story to continue. The reader will want to become the owner of all three books of the "Marcus Fastmover" trilogy, in which the main character, Marcus the bio robot, will play a decisive role in battles with far from friendly representatives from a long vanished civilization.
