Flora of RussiaVol. 9

The ninth volume of "Flora Vostochnoi Evropy [Flora of Eastern Europe]" is a direct continuation of "Flora Evropeiskoi hasti SSSR [Flora of Russia: The European Part and Bordering Regions]" and includes 45 families of higher plants with 62 genera and 860 species.

Among these families, the largest and the economically most important are families henopodiaceae and Polygonaceae.

Besides the wild and introduced species, this volume also includes important cultivated species.

The most important synonymy, habitat conditions, geographic distribution in the territory of the Flora and its neighboring regions, as also the chromosome numbers, are given for all species.
