This is a new anthology of well-loved poems, old and new.

They are chosen for their narrative and their rhythm, as one of the ideas behind the anthology is that the poems can be learned by heart.

There is one poem for each day of the year, framed by entertaining snippets of information - sometimes about the poet, sometimes about the poem, sometimes about the date.
