Have you ever been faced with an emergency situation and wished you could somehow make the appropriate CPC selections more quickly?

Now you can with GlovES+, a menu-driven expert system designed to make rapid, consistent searches of CPC data.

The program contains information to make decisions on each of the more than 250 segments that have information on tactility, resistance to cuts and abrasions, and aqueous stability.

It also contains critical information (eg carcinogenicity, toxicity, volatility and skin absorption) on more than 600 chemicals.

To use GlovES+, simply supply your Task Requirements for protection time, tactility, cuts and abrasion resistance, and use of the garment with water.

Tell the program whether the chemical exposure will be continuous, frequent, or not, and GlovES+ does the rest for you.

The program's Options menu selection will explain what Task Requirements are required to change to additional garments.

The program also performs automatic comparisons of results from two or more searches and locates garments that meet the requirements for two or more chemicals.

Searches can be performed on either individual chemicals or chemical classes. The program uses selected test data provided from the Chemical Protective Clothing database and is designed to be a companion screening tool for that publication.
