Virtually all new born babies admitted to Neonatal Units for intensive care can develop haematological problems which contribute to their mortality and morbidity.

Until recently, the mechanism of these disorders has been poorly understood.

This book provides a problem-oriented approach to foetal and neonatal haematology of interest to haematologists, neonatal paediatricians and foetal medicine specialists.
