This work focuses on communications, and how they have changed over the last century.

On each spread an aspect of the topic is compared and contrasted between the two periods, the 1890s and the 1990s.

An attempt is made to evaluate the changes that have taken place.

The final spread of the book attempts to predict what may happen over the next 100 years, and where we are likely to be at the end of the next century.
