Glas/s : Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam 1969-2009

2009 marks the 40th anniversary of Amsterdam's Gerrit Rietveld Academy.

During this time the department has built up an international reputation and is now justifiably one of the world's leading glass schools.

The many national and international graduates from the Rietveld Academy have, to a great extent, defined Dutch glass art.

Thus, this book traces not only the department's rich history but is also a representative overview of developments in Dutch glass over the past forty years.
