The Atex Directive - are You Prepared? : Conference Proceedings, London, 3 December 2001

Compliance with the ATEX Directive will become mandatory from 1 July 2003.

Consequently all electrical or mechanical equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres will have to bear the CE marking and comply with the essential requirements of the ATEX Directive.

This volume contains the proceedings of the conference "The ATEX Directive - Are You Prepared?" which was held in London in December 2001.

The proceedings should be useful to organizations tackling ATEX issues, as well as to those working in electrical or mechanical engineering on offshore platforms, power plants or any other installation where there may be a potentially explosive atmosphere.
