What a Year to Qualify : Nursing Through a Pandemic

In March 2020, the world faced a healthcare crisis like no other, as the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) swept across the globe.

Less than a month prior, Sarah had fulfilled her life's ambition of securing a dream job in a North London hospital in urgent care, which would see her moving from her home in Newcastle to join her family later that year in the Nation's Capital.

Little did Sarah know that what came to be known as the Covid-19 pandemic would soon grip the nation, bringing the NHS to its knees, her included.
