HIJINKS = Jonathan Ash Clark is a multimodal artist who from a young age onward practiced the craft of poetry throughout careers as a Perforance artist with the mediums of Video Jazz (a hands on technique he invented to do live projections with music) Cello, Dance and Sculpture for stages and events.

He counts among his Influences Borges, T.S. Eliot, Neruda, and Vonnegut as well as his great great great Aunt and uncle Robert and Amy Lowell poet laureates of the United States. He was first encouraged to pursue all of his different creative pursuits as an outgrowth of his Thesis on "The Enhancement of Creativity in Educational Contexts" at Reed college and the subsequent recognition of his poetry by the well known Alex Grey and John Perry Barlow in his Poem "Untying the Not" from which they created the album by and with the band "The String Cheese Incident". Jonathan has been a proponent of Peace from a young age with "Peace Child" and believes in reinvigorating our commitment to earths future by reifying the need for Peace in all aspects of our increasingly populated world. He believes poetry may be more than an modality of art and can also be viewed as a psychological technique for delving to a deeper level of human communication. You can see examples of his sculpture by looking up his full name on facebook, or follow him or his collaborative art-for-peace movement on instagram @hijinkszash or @Anew_peace
