When race and politics mix with sports at South Central College in Georgia, things can get red hot.

When Campus Activist DeMarcus Milton goes toe-to-toe with Student Government President Tasha Davidson to expose potential racially biased ballot fraud, tempers across campus flare and the situation threatens to spin out of control Jay Ferragamo, Editor of The Scope, starts digging into Milton's accusations and while trying to hold his own staff together, discovers some unsettling secrets about South Central College's past and while so many are afraid of the change Milton represents. When he finally learns the real story, Jay must decide between the safe path, or taking a risk which could cost him everything.
