C37 (1986 ed)

Included in these standards are not only all of the ANSI- approved circuit breaker, switchgear, relay, and substation standards in the C37 series, but those draft documents that have been developed within the Technical Committees of the IEEE, approved by IEEE, and are currently under consideration within the Accredited C37 Committee. Because those draft documents are still under review and subject to change prior to publication, both the draft and the current ANSI-approved standards are included in this collection.

Users of these standards may note and be guided by the changes in the drafts.

However, users should be cautioned that both editorial and substantive changes may occur in the draft documents prior to final approval and publication.

Draft documents have been included in the format in which they are currently under consideration.
