This book is a practical introduction to information technology and microcomputing, covering word processing, databases, spreadsheets, business applications software and communications systems such as Videotex.

The syllabus coverage includes many of the objectives of Introductory Level modules of CGLI 726 and other CGLI schemes, RSA Computer Literacy and Information Technology Scheme, CPVE core skills and preparatory modules, AEB Basic Test in Computer Studies, Cambridge Information Technology and schemes within the TVEI and GCSE courses with an IT component and also Business and Office Studies courses.
