Calculus Projects with Maple

This text offers students an introduction to calculus through technology.

The authors teach students to use calculus as a problem-solving tool and help them develop a facility for employing the computer as an aid in experimentation.

This is a book of laboratory investigations; it is neither a set of homework exercises nor a collection of "work sheets." Each session requires preparation by both the student and the instructor.

The instructor will need to offer initial direction and students need to prepare for each laboratory just as in a chemistry or physics laboratory session.
